Any time, any where, any position.
Thirty years ago father and son, Oscar and Clint Scanlon, bought an auto wrecker business and with the help of a converted 1954 Ford 1 Ton, set out to make their mark in the towing industry. Through the hard work and dedication of three generations of family, Western Auto Wreckers Ltd. now boasts a fleet of seven trucks which owners Clint and son, Cory Scanlon say can tow "any time, any where, any position."
Getting in and out of tight places, however, isn't the Scanlon's only strong point. In addition to the expansion of the towing division, in the past five years the company's auto wreckers area has grown from six acres to the present day 10 acres. The sheer number of wrecks (up to 1500 at a time) urged the Scanlons to branch out into the scrap metal business as well.
Hauling and crushing scrap cars is just one area where Western Auto Wreckers Ltd. plans to expand. In a move to keep up with the times, Western Auto Wreckers Ltd. will be launching an on-line database of used and hard-to-find parts. Visit this site regularly for updates.
